We stopped in this place for brunch one morning before going to pick up some plates we had finished at a Harry Potter creations event. It sponsors the Michigan Wolverines football team during the season so if you are a Wolverines fan then this is your place to see all of those games. While that isn’t what drew us to the site we were impressed by the amount of space this venue offered from its combination of inside and outside space. The only downside to sitting outside was the number of flies that we had at our table! It was kind of off-putting to us, but the food and service were excellent, so it helped make up for it. A mimosa flight is available on their brunch menu, and it includes four available flavors:
- Blackberry & Apricot Liqueur (Stone & Thicket)
- Vodka, Apple & Cinnamon (Fall Harvest)
- Rose & Grapefruit Vodka (Winter Rose)
- Luxardo, Bourbon, & Chocolate Bitters (Chocolate Cherry)
As mentioned before, the service here was excellent. Our server was attentive and responsive to any requests we had and made sure we were happy with everything. The food was also excellent. I had the brisket hash while Tanika had the garden omelet. She loved the garden omelet and my brisket hash was a large helping, and the brisket was juicy and tender. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for good brunch food. I just hope the restaurant does something about the abundance of flies that do happen to be outside.
I hope you enjoyed this review!
